Indigenous Women Rise Society

Making Lasting Change, Together

The Indigenous Women Rise Society is dedicated to cultivating safe spaces for

First Nations, Metis and Inuit women to gather, learn, heal and celebrate.

At Indigenous Women Rise Society, we aim to make a profound impact in the Lower Mainland community and beyond. Our initiatives and activities are designed to uplift Indigenous women of all ages and backgrounds. Above all, love, trust and faith is at the heart and soul of everything that we do.

Who We Are

IWR Logo 1 print white.png

We are a non-profit Indigenous led organization, based on cultivating safe spaces for our women to gather, learn, heal and celebrate.

We are driven to make the world a better place for girls and women, we have taken part in a wide range of activities.  From organizing MMIW+ Vigils and Events to hosting healing workshops and celebrations in at the Garden.

Since December of 2022, we have been cultivating safe spaces for over 4,000 Indigenous women to gather in a good way leading with trust, love and faith in all of our programs. We strive to bring about

long lasting change and positive impact.  We are happy to partner with others who share our vision and thankful to our funders who support our work and also the community who donate to our organization.
